Topics of science

These are the pictures of sixth graders before and after visiting the Fermilab, a laboratory for high energy physics in Chicago

If you ask a child to draw a scientist he/she will surely make a man with glasses and white coat. But this is another of the many topics in the world.

The results of a study that was done with primary and secondary school children about their opinion about science was:

-Students agree that it is important to study science at school but only a few of them want to become a scientist or to be taught as much science as possible at school.
-Results show that opinions toward science declined as they progressed through schooling.
-Many students believe that science is boring  and nonsense.
-A large majority see their science classes as difficult and out of their own reality.

But it isn’t true everyone can learn science and it can be funny!
